what nyc taught her | new york city children’s lifestyle portrait photographer

We don’t often share our children’s portrait sessions on our blog. We really try and respect the privacy of each family – many of our clients ask for their session to remain private. So unless they ask us to be featured on our blog, we don’t. But in this case, this mom runs a hugely successful mom’s blog called NYC Taught Me. She shared her children’s portrait session on her blog and wrote some really great stuff!

I just love her blog. I love how it reminds me of our days in NYC. Of course, back then we didn’t have children. It was just Keith and I. Manhattan takes on a whole new meaning when you have children, especially three like she does!

Keith really enjoyed this kids session. Sharon is just an absolute pleasure and her children are awesome. This session says it all. This is childhood, personified. Costumes, cookies, toys, tears, smiles, laughs. Children being themselves. Unscripted.

Thank you for letting us into your lives and allowing us to document an easy going afternoon on the Upper West Side.

NYC has a lot of good things to teach. So glad Sharon is sharing what she (and the kids) learn.
